The top component of a 55mm x 40mm x 22mm box designed to fit a music box mechanism. Designed for 3mm MDF.
Instruction
Step1: Engrave from Templates
Select any designs inside of your top shape and delete.
Navigate to the ‘Start from Templates’ tool, and select a template that appeals to you.
Place the chosen template on the worksheet, and resize and move it to fit the plate.
Step2: Settings
Ensure that the template is set to Engrave, and use default settings.
Ensure that the top plate is ‘Ignored’. Check by selecting the top plate and ensuring the the ‘Output’ option is set to ‘off’.
Step3: Align Plate
Place the top plate face side down on the honeycomb bed. Calibrate the material height, then move the laser head to the top left corner of the plate to locate.
In xTool Studio, move the plate and design to match the location of the red cross.
Use the ‘Framing’ tool to check and verify that the job will be performed on the plate.
