🎒 Backpack Keychain – Gift for Classmates

      A small souvenir to celebrate a great year together! ❤️

I made this keychain in the shape of a backpack, designed as a nice end-of-year gift for classmates.

The project is made up of several overlapping elements that allow you to obtain a pretty 3D effect: the base of the backpack, the front pocket, the decorative heart and the customizable tags.

The words "Class of 2026" can be engraved on the top, while the name of each child can be added on the front tag, making each key ring unique. 🎒✨

The small heart charm can be attached to the key ring as an additional decorative element.

🪵 Recommended material

3mm plywood, e.g. birch or poplar.

To create more contrast, the pocket and heart can be made of colored wood or painted with acrylic paints.

🎨 Customization

You can customize the project by editing:

the child's name;
the class or year;
the colors of the pocket;
the color of the heart;
any small engravings or decorations.

In this way, starting from the same file, you can create many different backpacks for all the children in the class. 🌈

🛠️ Assembly

After cutting and engraving:

Engrave the writing on the base.
Cut all the elements.
Glue the front pocket to the base of the backpack.
Apply the heart to the center of the backpack.
Personalise and stick the name tag.
Insert the key ring into the top hole.
Add the small heart charm with a chain.
