Rice Paddy Worker Wood Laser Engraved Bookmark Pendant

Information

      A farmer in a conical hat planting rice seedlings in a flooded paddy, a thatched farmhouse and tree on the hill behind him, birds crossing the sky above. The kanji down the left is from a famous classical Chinese poem: "Every grain of rice represents hard toil, sweat drops fall onto the soil beneath the crops." 

The seal reads "work hard, know contentment." A quiet and grounded piece that carries a lot of meaning. The water reflection and clothing detail engrave really well in the ink brush style.
