Weaving Loom Kit

      I wanted to make something that can help empower the community, but also use low-material, have high-impact, and is easy to distribute or teach. I came up with this weaving loom kit. Empowerment often comes from teaching or learning a skill. Instead of just making a product for the community, I made these flat-pack weaving loom kits that allow people to assemble their own functional items, sparking an interest in STEM, design, and fabrication. These weaving loom kits can be distributed to local schools, libraries, senior centers, or after-school programs alongside yarn scraps while teaching a traditional craft using a modern tool. It demystifies manufacturing, builds confidence, and gives participants a sense of ownership over something they made themselves.
