Pick 2 pieces of your desired 3mm 12" wood.

Put 1 piece in the laser unit and mark the location in the software.  On the M1Ultra, place wood at upper left laser crosshair or the entire design will not fit. 

Select cut and engrave settings.  I had to do 3 passes to cut on my 10W machine.  Other lasers or other wood may be done in fewer passes.

Use wood glue to adhere the cut wood piece to the uncut wood piece.
