Create your word. It does not have to be welcome but that's the message I want to share as people come to our home.
Pick your font. Something that connects (cursive) is easiest but not strictly required. I used Dancing Script Bold.
Weld your text so the word becomes one unit.
For Dancing Script you'll notice that the W is still it's own letter. Use Vector Edit or Edit Compound Vector, select the W, and move it over until it partially overlaps the E.
Select the W and Combine it with the E so it's one shape.
Set the word to Cut.

Set up your wood in the machine, refresh the distance, and line it up with the cameras.
Make sure that your word is set to cut and start the process. It only takes a minute or two to cut out.
Clean up any smoke residue with a rag and a little alcohol.

Spray paint your word and let it dry.
If you are using the style that supports string you can add that now and use it to hang your word.
If you prefer the cleaner style like I did then you can attach Command Strips to the back to hang it on the door. I cut them in half length wise so they will hide behind the thin letters.
