      This piece is a 2.5D inner engraving of my daughter, preserved within a small, heart-shaped crystal. I chose this form because there is no better way to express the depth of love a parent has for their child than by transforming a simple school portrait into something permanent—something that can be kept and cherished forever. The crystal itself, delicate yet enduring, reflects the idea of love that doesn’t fade with time but instead becomes more meaningful as the years pass.

For my wife and me, becoming new parents was both overwhelming and incredible. From the very beginning, it felt as though this little blessing had always been a part of our lives, as if she was meant to be here all along. This engraving captures not just an image, but a feeling—the joy, the pride, and the unconditional love we carry every day. We are truly fortunate to have such a smart, caring, and wonderfully spirited (and yes, sometimes a little crazy) young lady in our lives. This piece stands as a reminder of that bond, something timeless that represents who she is to us and what she always will be.
