Edit #2: My Top piece is a tight fit, and I decided to shorten the base of the top hold down so that there is more "wiggle room," because I realized the tighter fit might not work for everyone, especially if one of your settings is just slightly off from mine. I hope no one has had an issue with that, but if you did, it is fixed now.
Edit: On the first canvas for the hold down's I had somehow gotten the right and left writing orientation flipped the wrong way. So I have fixed it. Sorry if it caused any confusion! Be sure to check out the instructions and materials list at the bottom of this page!

I love the M2 and the Cloudray Riser, but I didn't love them TOGETHER. I tried finding a solution for the issues I was having on Xtool groups and Atomm. I ended up getting the basic concept for this project from another user (remix linked below), but the sliding tension clamps and the setup as a whole are my own design. While the basic shape of the clamps of mine and the other user's designs are similar, they do function differently. Both are great, they just have different uses. :)

This setup is optimized for materials that are 12in high and 3mm thick. This overall setup has been a game changer for me and has resulted in more accurate cuts because I was relying on masking tape that just wasn't consistently working with the riser, and I was wasting material and getting frustrated.

This build takes about 32 minutes of machine processing time + build time of about 1 hour (including clamp/dry times between layers + final glue dry time. All in all, it takes about 3-4 hours before the set is usable (allow at least 2 hours for a final dry). In my video, I had not added the 3mm to the clamps, I added it in so that they are easily identifiable

Instructions, materials used, and material links are all included below.

I am working on additional setups for different material thicknesses and heights. So check back soon!

I hope you enjoy and find this useful!
