      This project features a stylish cork coaster with a detailed engraving of a chimpanzee in a full vacation mood. Sporting a straw hat, sunglasses, and a Hawaiian shirt while sipping a coconut drink, this monkey brings a relaxed, tropical vibe to any desk. The high-contrast engraving looks sharp against the natural cork texture, making it a functional yet humorous piece of home or office decor.
How to make: Place a square cork coaster with rounded corners on the laser bed. Ensure the surface is clean and level before starting the process. After engraving, you can lightly wipe the surface to remove any residue.
How to cut / engrave / print: The design is made using a laser engraver. Use the "Engrave" mode with bi-directional movement to ensure even coverage across the detailed lines of the artwork.
Settings used: Power: 10%, Speed: 160 mm/s, Pass: 1, Bitmap mode: Jarvis, Lines per cm: 160, Mode: Bi-directional.
