13 Interchangeable Holiday Signs

      I created this interchangeable seasonal sign collection as a fun way to decorate all year long without needing a different stand for every holiday. Each design is laser cut from wood and created to slide easily into the same reusable base, making it simple to switch out the display as the seasons change.

The collection includes designs for Back to School, Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Earth Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and more. I wanted every insert to have its own personality while still keeping a consistent layered style throughout the entire collection.

One of my favorite parts of this project was creating all of the artwork and figuring out how to turn each illustration into layers that would work well with the laser. The natural wood and engraved details give the pieces plenty of dimension even without paint, but they could also be painted and personalized for an entirely different look.

Instead of seasonal décor that gets packed away after one holiday, one base becomes a year-round display just swap the insert and you're ready for the next celebration.
