Step 1:
Engrave all coffee bean shapes first using a standard fill engrave to darken the bean areas and create contrast against the MDF surface.

Step 2:
Score the thin centre lines inside each coffee bean separately at low power. This gives the effect of texture and creates the illusion of raised individual beans without over-burning the surface.

Step 3:
Leave the coffee cup centre section cleaner and lighter than the surrounding beans so the design has a strong focal point and balanced contrast.

Step 4:
Run the outer circular cut last to avoid movement during engraving and scoring. Use masking if needed to keep the surface clean and reduce smoke marks around the edge.

Step 5:
Lightly wipe or sand the coaster after cutting to remove residue while keeping the engraved coffee beans dark and defined for a premium finish.
