Laser Cut Wooden Coffee Coaster Set with Holder and Scenic Engraving

Bring “coffee anywhere, anytime” to your desk, camper, studio, or coffee corner with this cozy laser-cut coaster set (6 coasters) made to be stacked, displayed, and admired. The design is built from two layers of 3mm basswood, and is branded for Outin brand but it is super easy to replace, so you can make it Outin-style, your shop-style, or gift-style in minutes. Inspired by the idea of portable coffee adventures (because the table deserves a coffee break too).
Instruction
Step1
Step 1 — Assemble the base
Align the 4 side walls around the bottom plate, matching all finger joints and slots carefully so the corners sit perfectly square.
When everything dry-fits nicely, add a thin line of wood glue on the joints, press-fit the pieces together, and wipe any squeeze-out before it dries.
Slide the top panel in to lock the box, then hold it tight (tape/clamps/rubber bands) until the glue sets.
Step2
Step 2 — Install the arc holders
Press-fit the arc pieces into the slots on top of the base, keeping them straight, parallel, and fully seated.
Important: the two arcs with side slots must go in the first and last positions (the ends).
Now slide the 2 rectangular locking pieces into those side slots—one on each side—to connect the first and last arc and keep the whole “tunnel” aligned.
Step3
Step 3 — Assemble the coasters
Glue the two coaster layers together (plain back + engraved front), align the edges carefully, then press flat until they bond.
Once your coasters are ready, slide them one by one into the arc holder like a neat little coffee vinyl collection.
