SlowFlake

step 1) This project starts with a lonely snowflake, it is brought into the work area from the image button and retrieved from the computer. Once in the work area, it is traced with the new trace feature. Now that the image is traced it allows to be scored, engraved or cut. This particular time we will be cutting. In order to make the slow motion effect we will need several snow flakes. This is done by copy and pasting the snowflake 14 times to have a total of 15 snowflakes. Once these are all copied each and everyone is resized .200 of an inch smaller each time so you end up with 15 different sized snowflakes with a size step of .200" 

Step 2) in this step each snowflake is adjusted to be cut out and placed on the material so they all fit on the substrate, these settings are all the same for all the cuts. Once the laser has finished cutting you end up with a bunch of snowflakes that get smaller and smaller. this will be glued on top of each other to give a slow motion effect.

Step 3) Once all 15 snowflakes are glued to each other the effect takes it's shape, maybe it looks like this maybe not…..
