Four-Player Magnetic Chessboard with Piece Storage

3. Fine grit sandpaper found at local hardware store (220 to 320 works best)
4. Wood Finish, Choose desired (optional)

1. Engrave and cut out all parts as shown in picture #1
2. Put a small drop of wood glue in each of the grooves and fit together following picture #2
3. Let all components dry

*If only making two player chess board you can skip this step.

** Do not glue the top on if you wish to have piece storage

1. Follow exact same steps as for step #2

1. Double check polarity of all magnets after every step. This is very important
2. Drill four holes in each of the corners exactly ½ inch or 12.70 mm from the top/bottom and sides.
3. Install magnets using hot glue or wood glue.
