Placing the pattern correctly is time-consuming, as the background does not take over the exact dimensions of the sneaker. The XCS app copes well with flat templates, but with the sneaker, which is 9cm high, the proportions are not quite right. That's why I marked points on the sneaker with the crosshairs and scaled the engraving graphic accordingly.
