Basic Dice box

Glue the Front, Bottom and Back panels together. Before the glue sets put on the two end pieces with the engraved magnet holes to the inside of the box. Glue the inner lid to the outer lid carefully avoiding any glue squeezing out the side and center it by using the box to align the two. Let the glue dry. To add magnets superglue the magnets to the two engraved holes  inside of the end pieces and to the slots at the ends of the inner lid making sure to align the polarity properly. 

That's all… It's a box. doesn't get a whole lot more simple.

It goes together fairly tight but I would recommend glue and magnets. The “Front”, “back” and “bottom” panels are identical and reversable so feel free to engrave or score whatever text or images you like in place of the labels I've included. I'd actually love to see what creative Ideas you come up with. I actually scored each players name on the bottom panel so that it can be set on its side as a name placard and engraved each character name on the top panel which can also be used as a placard. It also allows the top panel to be replaced with a different character name without having to replace the entire box.

I made this project as a way to learn my way around the XCS software. I designed a simple dice box without a box generator so I could figure out grouping/ungrouping, combining/subtracting, shape modification and various other tools within XCS. I learned a lot and this is actually the culmination of those lessons. Perhaps it should be called “Basic Dice Box Ver. 1.3” I may revisit this project in the future and put in a divider to seperate dice and a miniature and I thought about attaching turn tracker tabs for “Action”,"Bonus action", “Movement” and “Reaction” so each player would have a visual reference for their turn. I might also consider making the entire box double walled for added durability. But for now I think I'm going to work on a dice tower and tray. I hope you enjoy it.
