Great little gift with personalised names. This is my first laser piece and I got lucky on my first attempt, I have tried a few different settings, but the ones in the file gave me the results in the photo.
Let me know how you get on with your trials and if there are better settings.

Instruction

Step1: Material Prep

Clean surface with rubbing alcohol and wait until dry, usually takes a minute. Then use a lint cloth to remove anything tiny that may have stuck on.

Step2: Device setup

Go into device settings and turn on IR preheat.

Set your baseplate, material and measurements to the correct options as required.

Select Framing to check engraving area.

Then process and good luck!

Step3: Clean up

Clean with rubbing alcohol to remove dust and bring out colours, then wipe dry with lint free cloth.

An additional step I like to do is rub the engraving with Xtools Metal Laser Color Engraving Balm to give the engraving a protection layer which makes it last longer.
