Owl pendant - 2 layers

Cut out both layers. You can scale up the design if you wish easily.

Be careful when removing small internal cutouts so you don't damage the front piece.

If you don't want to paint the design you can also skip the back part and have a simple pendant.

Painting the design makes it stand out. I decided to paint the back side and keep the front piece in natural wood. It is a bit more difficult to do it this way.

You can paint it however you like.

Glue the front piece to the back one.

You can use wood glue for durability or if you are in a hurry superglue will also work quite well. Apply a small amount on larger areas and press together.

Add a piece of string through the hole on the top. The hole is relatively small so a large string won't fit. You can scale up the design to make space for a larger string.
