      This Earring display you can use to make pictures for the photos of your earrings.

To get a dark engraving from the project, we must first treat the wood.
Take a glass jar with a lid. Mix 1 tablespoon of Borax with 10 tablespoons of water. Stir it well until the water becomes more transparent.
The wood must now be coated with this borax water. Here we use a brush, you can also use a sponge. Allow the wood to dry before engraving.

Engrave and cut out the head. Also the base plates. You will need to adjust the settings if you are going to use 3mm or another thickness of wood. Here we used 2 passes, because the thickness of the wood requires this.
If you are making this project in a different thickness of wood, you will need to adjust the lock in the base plate to the thickness of your wood.
Assemble the Baseplate, glue the two parts together. Then place the head in the base plate.

After engraving, it is wise to immediately treat the engraved head with a clear varnish, because the borax can sometimes transfer black to the rest and you have to clean too much of the wood.
