Layered or Inlay Tree of Life Keychain or Pendant

Import the project into XTool Studio and adjust the cut settings for your material and laser if needed. The black layer is what you will cut out for the walnut plywood. The yellow layer is what you will cut for the maple plywood.

After cutting, you will have a piece of walnut with the tree inside. Remove the tree carefully. You will have another round piece of walnut. From the maple you will have one tree. Carefully place the maple tree of life into the piece of walnut that you removed the tree from. These pieces are very small and delicate.

Put glue on your round piece of walnut without the tree in an even layer. Place the piece of walnut with the maple tree inside on top of the round piece of walnut with glue on it. Press everything firmly together and give the glue time to setup.

Open up a jump ring so that it is mostly straight and feed it through the whole in your piece. Use three more 6mm jump rings to make the chain. On the last jump ring, insert the lobster claw clip on it to complete the key chain.
