S1 Accessories Storage Box

      I recently purchased an S1 with the rotary tool and the UV laser module. I wanted a convenient storage box that kept the tools and extra stuff that came with the laser. This project was my test building a box. This is made with 12"x12" 3mm basswood with 0.22mm kerf built in. Designed from scratch with NanoCAD and imported into XCS. It takes six sheets of basswood and I used some wood glue. It has double-walled external walls for more support and divided internal segments to fit all the parts with room to grow. 

The XCS file has labeled pieces to make assembly a little easier. Start with assembling the interior dividers and then place them on the base plate. Then, add the inner part of the outside walls. Finally, add the exterior part of the outside walls. I glued the three rails around the top to let the lid slide in and hold it down.
