Information

Thought it would be fun to create a 3-D egg "puzzle" and it took a few tries to get to here. It includes a stand.

Instruction

1

Step1: Get supplies and set up machine

There are 4 canvases that will need basswood.  (If you change the wood type make sure to update the settings - you will score, engrave and cut).

You can start with the stand (canvas 1).  I also included a view of the slices that make up the egg when stacked.

For each canvas make sure to do your autofocus, set the processing area and make sure the settings match your materials.

Process all four canvases.  You will have lots of circles and the pieces of the stand.

Step2: Set up the stand and stack the pieces

Combine the pieces for the stand and glue them.  The stand will be needed so that you can stack the pieces.

You can either start with the smallest (not numbered, then 1 onward) starting with the 2nd canvas or you can start with the smallest circle for the highest grouping (canvas 4).

Step3: Enjoy!

Once you stack them you can see if you like the wood or paint them!  You can challenge people to stack them (without seeing the numbers as a puzzle piece with the answers.

Enjoy!
