Pineapple coaster

create a small rectangle 
here it is 10x10mm
select the grid array function
here I have set 10 rows and 10 columns

then define the shape of the pineapple with the path tool
select both afterwards and choose unite at overlap
 

create a shape with the stake tool
copy it several times and make it larger and smaller
mirror the shape for the other side 
lay all the sheets on top of each other the way you like them

then it is helpful to color them so that you can see which area is on top

now we always select one and create an outline with 1mm 
subtract this outline from the one underneath
we do this until all of them are cut into shape
