Information

      This custom card is a great way to share your love for a special princess on her birthday.  This project file includes the design and steps to help with alignment.  You can customize the card to include a name or other designs.

Step1: Import the design

I have included the design files for this project, which include the pictured design. You may want to import additional designs or your own and follow the remaining steps.

Step2: Add Boarder Of Card

When working with cards, I like to add in a rectangle as a guide for the working area of the front of the card. This helps with aligning the parts and will let the laser trace the outside edge of the card when doing alignment with the card stock.

Step3: Settings

The settings are for the D1 5W laser. You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.

Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.

Step4: Assemble

The engraving of text on the white card stock did not work out, so Idecided to add a badg to the project where the text would have been.

After i cut out the badge I cut out a pink insert to go in behind the the front of the card. Iused some spray glue to make sure the small parts didn't stick up.
