• I started off what a square box for my design. The dimensions aren't important because as I got further along in this design process I changed it in the end. But this will get your a base to start off with.
• Next I went into basic shapes and plant and I chose a cute plant to put in the corner of my design.
• Next I added the text that I want to be engraved onto my design
  • “save the date”
  • the date
  • the couples name
  • formal invitation to follow
  • You can also get creative and add the city especially if its a destination wedding!
• Finally I played around with text placement until I got everything where I liked it. 
• I decided my backing was to big so I resized it down to a smaller size. 

Make sure all your text and design is set to engrave!

And your rectangle its set to cut!

When the project comes out of the laser

• Add some magnetic tape to the back
• spray it with a clear coat
