Step1
The goal is to cut 3 pieces of leather including the drilling of holes for sewing, to make an engraving and a text.
Since the leather strip is 40mm wide, it is not necessary to cut the entire length of the strip. 2 orange lines with a power of 1% are used as locators to position the leather strip in the XTOOL M1 machine.
The purple lignes correspond to the cutting. Unfortunately, if we want a complete cut, the leather (thickness 3mm) burns, so it will be only a partial cut and we will have to finish with a cutter for the shapes and a punch for the holes.
It will be necessary to sand the edge of the leather pieces with sandpaper. It will be necessary to clean the leather well with a special SAPO oil (for leather) because the burns of the leather with the laser generate black ashes.
