Hello Summer sign

To create the ice cream shape, start by creating a circle and setting it to cut. Next, import a rounded pill shape and a rectangle. Then, subtract the rectangle from the pill shape to achieve the desired ice cream shape. Although I didn't include a photo, I created an outline of the ice cream shape to give it softer edges.

Now, create another pill shape and combine it with the main one to form your ice cream shape. Then, copy and paste them to create the shapes for our sign, and finally, create the text for the sign.

You definitely need to use basswood and no other material, since the plan is to paint it.

This is a rather large project that will require two sheets of basswood. Make sure to adjust the settings on your machine accordingly. There are two canvases, one with letters and one with a big circle. Always remember to wear your laser safety glasses.

For this project, first paint the sign and then glue the design to the final circle. There are already lines to align your letters.

You're done. Now all you need to do is hang up your sign.
