Maybe this will help users of the F1 when it comes to getting things aligned just right during the framing. I made a simple baseplate allow the use of a microscope slide holder to simplify the alignment process. Only costs about $15 and simple to do. Check out my video for details and how to build one. I've uploaded the XCS and SVG files for reference.
I added a link the in video description on where to buy the microscope slide adjuster but here it is as well:

Instruction
1
Step1: Measure the dowel pin spacing & size

Watch the video to follow along:

My pins were 2.8mm diameter and spaced 35mm apart.  I left a link the video description of the one I bought but double check to ensure the same spacing.

Cut the baseplate out of whatever material you like.  Pins should be a nice snug fit.

Step2: Cutout baseplate from supplied xcs or svg file

Don't think I need to give any more details on this step LOL.

Hope this helps out a few people!
