  • Start out about inserting a heart from the left side panel under basic shapes
    • Dimensions used 5.3" x 4.8"
  • Create an offset distance of the heart .16"
  • Also make a internal offset disant of the heart.
  • That the largest heart and create a copy
    • You will have two copies of the larger heart.
  • Now the two other hearts we will group together.
    • Select them both, right click and “group”
  • Now right click again, copy and paste it three more times
    • You have four heart outlines and two large hearts
  • One of the four outlines right click and ungroup it.
    • Delete the outer heart.
    • Make an offset of the heart of 0.159
    • Delete the smaller heart
    • Select both hearts left
      • right click and “group”
  • Now had some text to the one of the biggest hearts. (This will be the top of the box)
    • I used bride and groom, but you can certainly use the names of the actual bride and group and the date they are getting married.
  • Prep for laser, make sure everything but the text is set to “cut” and the text is set to engrave.
  • Dont forget to automeasure you material!

    • Canvas 1: is the top and bottom of the box.
      • The small hearts will be glues where the scored hearts on the base of the box,
    • Canvas 2: is the middle sections.
      • All these pieces will be glued together and then glued to the base.
    • Canvas 3: is the outline that will be glued to the back of the top of the box.
  • When glueing all of the pieces together make sure everything is flush together.

After all the glue has dried you can chose to stain if you like.
