Information

Any golfers in your life? Here is simple quick easy tee holder that makes a great gift for any golfer in your life. My dad is a golfer and I wanted to give him something he would use so I made this custom for Father's Day but you can design this for any person.

Instruction

Step1: Measure Your Tees

Grab your digital calipers and measure the diameter of your tees. This will help get the precise measure of the hole so they don't fall out.

  • Start off by creating
    • a rectangle 4" x 2"
    • another rectangle 2.75" x .5"
    • a small circle .19"
      • The golf tees I had on hand measured about .19" in diameter with my digital calipers. Checks your golf tees before cutting and make adjustments as needed.
  • Add four more circles. (In my original design, I used 6 but I went back and changed it to 5)
  • Align and Distribute them horizontally
  • Move the row of circles into the smaller rectangle.
    • Center them inside of it.
    • Select the row and smaller rectangle and group them together.
      • right click, group
  • Select it and make a copy and paste
  • Add another circle at the top of the bigger rectangle.
    • .25" x .25"
  • Finally add your text!
    • Be creative and add your own custom text!
    • Make sure its set to engrave!
  • Make sure everything else is set to “cut”

  • Glue the two smaller rectangles together.
    • Making sure the holes are perfectly aligned.
  • Next glue those to the back of the bigger rectangle.
    • I put my more to the side because I had the extra long tees.
      • If you have the short tees you can probably glue them towards the middle.
  • Add a clip or caribner to clip on a golf bag!
