Our Family has grown and we now have Grandchildren, this is the perfect way to let them show off things they have done at home or at school. This way you can be as proud as they are with their accomplishments.
Step 1) With this making it will all start with making a name with the text feature, it will default with Hello but can easily be edited in the text edit box. Once I selected the name I wanted I also chose the font to be used from the drop down list of fonts. This font happens to need welding as it over laps to be a continuous flow.
Step 2) With this step it is adding an outline of the word, it is a larger than normal outline as it will double as part of the actual backing of this making. Once the outline was created the original wording was moved away from the outline.
Step 3) Now that the outline was ready a rectangle was created with the insert button, this rectangle was then resized to match the width of around the middle portion of the outline and was lined up to be equally on either side.
Step 4) Once the rectangle was in place the combine feature was used with the unite feature so the backing was all one piece with a new shape.
Step 5) This step moves the name back in place where it originally started from then with the text button more wording was added. This time the font was different with a more bold flavor.
Step 6) Here once everything was ready was the time to resize the entire project, this didn't need to be as big as it was while working on it. It was only that size because it was easier to work on. Once it was resized the cut and engraving settings were adjusted and off to the laser.
Step 7) Once the laser did all the cutting and engraving it was time to affix the clip to hold the child's works. Here is my 4 year old's grandson showing us what he is waiting for? for Gramps to take him fishing, I assume that is my boat! Hope you would try this some time yourself, Enjoy!
