Step2: Base: Framing, Scoring, and Cutting Process

For the base of the frame, I used white cardboard, but basswood plywood is also an option.

  • Check the framing: Verify that the design aligns correctly with the material. Once confirmed, proceed to process the project.
  • Processing the Project (Base): First, score the flower design, and then cut the base.
  • Assemble the Base: Use wood glue or a strong adhesive to attach the base to the frame, then allow it to dry.

For the wording, I used Basswood Plywood.

  • Check the framing: Ensure the design aligns correctly with the material. Once confirmed, proceed to process the project.
  • Processing the Project (Wording): Begin cutting the project.
  • Painting the Wooden Wording: Initially, I planned to paint them green, but the contrast wasn't enough, so I added another coat of black on top.
  • Final Assembly: Glue the wooden words to the base of the frame, then allow them to dry.
