Information
Packaging plays a crucial role in product branding, and shipping your items in a box adorned with your logo significantly enhances the customer experience.

Step1: Import your Logo

The first step in this project is to import your log into the XCS software.  Keep in mind the box or surface that the logo will be engraved on and size the logo accordingly.

2
Step2: Settings

Be careful when engraving cardboard to use lower power settings.  Of course it doesn't take much to burn into the cardboard.  I am using the D1 with a 5W laser and I had to scale it down to 75% power.

Step3: Line up and engrave

Next, we need to line up the laser.  You may need to use risers to get the machine above your box.  If the box is broken down then you can simply slide it under the engraver.

Always follow the safety rules that go with your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.
