Proverbs 31:26 Heart for Mother's Day

The Book of Proverbs is replete with wise truths applicable to all facets of life. Its passages on the virtuous woman resonate with many, reflecting our perceptions of our mothers. These verses are not only uplifting but also particularly appropriate to share on Mother's Day.
For this project, I decided to build upon a heart shape for the overall design. XCS has many basic shapes to work with, so it is as simple as adding the heart with a single click then resizing to fit the workspace.
To give this project more visual appeal, I am breaking up the text and emphasizing key words. This can easily be done in XCS by adding these elements as individual textboxes. For example, I am adding a single textbox to create the S both larger and as a different process. I will have it processed as a score rather than engraving.
Now we can begin to add in more lines of the verse. I am doing this line by line and just seeing how much I can fit on each line as I go. This is a trail and error process, but isn't too difficult to do. Remember to break up the text if there are words you want to emphasize or change the style.
The settings in this file are for the D1 with a 5W laser. You may need to adjust settings to match your configuration.
The last phase was to let the laser cut and engrave the parts. I decided to add a layer of stain and paint the words emphasized in the project.
