Step 1) This glue gun holder starts off with a rectangle, this is created with the insert button. Once it is in the work area is it is made to the desired size I wanted. As default the size stays with the ratio, if a different ratio is wanted you must unlock the lock by the sizes box.

Step 2) Once the size has been made up it is then copied and pasted to make a second rectangle, the second rectangle also gets a new size and it is done.

Step 3) In this step a another rectangle is needed but much smaller than the others, it is only need to change the shape of the second rectangle with the combine feature and the subtract button selected. In order to position this part in the right place the alignment tool is needed, once activated the horizontal and align left is selected to place it.

Step 4) Once again more rectangles are needed this time 2 are made to the same width of the base and 3" tall, then a circle is created, this circle is multiplied with the array feature using 4 rows and 4 columns @0.2 inches apart. These holes were sized based on the glue sticks themselves, being close to a 1/2" the 1/2" hole would work great.

Step 5) All these holes are placed inside one of the new squares leaving a gap in the middle, once positioned they are then grouped and duplicated for the other square.

Step 6) Now that all the parts are seized and made up it was time to arrange them on the work area so the use the least amount of material, the settings were also set at this time and it was off to the laser. The parts are all easily glued together as the parts are easy to see where they go, I do have to mention this was assembled with wood glue and not the hot glue gun for better strength.

Step 7) Once the parts are all glued together it is ready to store not only the glue gun but also providing storage for additional glue sticks. This makes using a hot glue gun a lot more easier having it at hands reach when needed.
