Step1: Idea and creation

I love customization and so I thought why not try a vinyl decal on my glass.

You can do this also on a tumbler, tea cup and and and…  so lets start with this fun quick project!

Step2: Cut Settings on M1

  1. Put blade into machine and if your using air assist place it into the resting place.
  2. Get you sticky mat out and place your material on the top site, I like to give the material good grip and thats best when its still outside the M1
  3. Stick you mat onto the baseplate
  4. Close lid and get preview inside XCS and position the text
I did both colors at same time, the cam made positioning very easy.
  5. Click start and press button on machine

Step3: Weeding Vinyl

  • The part “But first” is very delicate so I used method where you place transfer sheet directly on the cut and by lifting getting the decal onto the tape.
  • You need to check if the pieces inside of the b are lifted as well and only get rid of them now
  • I placed my glass onto my desk and then applied the first vinyl cut to it.

Repeat the upper steps also for the “COFFEE” phrase.

Step4: Enjoy your morning Coffee

And thats all to get a customized own glass or cup!

I hope you enjoy your coffee or if your team tea in the morning, I know I will!
