Learn how to Outline and Assign different engrave settings to make this beautiful floral wreath with a butterfly fridge magnet.
Instruction
Step1: Import, Size and Enhance the Graphic
Import the graphic into the program and resize it to 3.5”
Click on the “Edit Image” icon and move the Fuzziness slider to 100.
Click on the “Adjustments” icon and move the “Sharpness” slider to 100.
Step2: Create the Offset
Click on the graphic and then on the “Outline” tool and add a value of 0.079. Click OK.
If you do not want the center to cut out uncheck the “Add inner outline for bitmap”.
Step3: Prepare for Processing
Assign the outline a RED layer, this will be the cut layer.
Power = 100% - Speed = 5 – Pass = 1.
Assign the graphic a PURPLE layer, this will be the Engrave layer.
Power = 50% - Speed = 200 – Pass = 1
Bitmap mode: Jarvis
Perform the auto measure then send to the laser for processing.
Step4: Finish Up the Project
Decide how you want it to look. You can leave it in the natural wood state, paint with acrylic paints, or color with regular coloring pencils.
Use glue to apply magnets to the back of the wood and your project is complete.
