Step 1) This hanging plant project starts with a circle inserted into the work area, it is then sized to the size needed to fit the pot that will be used.

Step 3) In this step yet another smaller circle is entered to be added to the larger circle for a decorative flare, this is done by using the array feature to have the small circle duplicated in a circular pattern. once the array has placed the 8 circles to make the large pattern of circles in is grouped together.

Step 4) Now that all the small circles is grouped the large circle made earlier is placed over top and is centered with the alignment tool by selecting vertical and horizontal buttons. Once it is in the center it was simply selected and the combine button was used to unite them all together giving the outside circle a bumpy outer edge.

Step 5) In this step I added small holes in 4 places for hanging string, these were easily placed in a square fashion, then every thing was grouped together.

Step 6) Now that the piece was grouped it was time to copy and paste it, once I did I resized it just big enough to fit within the larger object's inner circle ( so you don't waste material as the inside of that circle would be drops and thrown away)

Step 7) Time to adjust the settings, this project really only has one setting and it is all cut the same. when the laser was finished and the pieces taken out it was time for them to get stained.

Step 9) Well there you have it, it was put together with general twine and turned out nicely for the pot with this size needed, as a bonus the top ring is adjustable based on how tall the flowers or plant gets and when not in use sits flat for easy storage. Hope you like this and try it for yourself some day...Enjoy!
