      This is a cool way to get a rich 3 dimensional appearance with an engraving on polished stainless steel.

Step1: Engrave the whole image using a lower power setting

I actually did this as a single layer then altered the contrast and laser power and repeated, taking care not to move the tag from the platform. The file uploaded has three layers which should be a good approximation of of the steps I used, and do all 3 layers consecutively

You may want to change the artwork, play around with the laser speeds, or add more layers to give more range of colours, and depth to the image.

Step2: Move the sliders to increase the contrast then engrave at full power at a slower speed

This layer will give the yellow/orange tones.

Step3: Increase contrast and slow down laser speed again.
Preview

The final layer adds definition and depth to the engraving, slow the laser (higher value) if you require more depth.
