Begin by importing the SVG file into Creative Space. By default, it will be set to Engrave; however, change it to 'Score' temporarily to view the image. Next, ungroup the image to work with individual elements. Then, group all the letters together. Finally, create an outline for the entire image by selecting the letters' borders and choosing 'Outline,' setting it to 0.1".

Step3: Make Connector

After completing the outline, proceed to create a connector for the keychain hardware. Begin by crafting a 1" circle and a 1" rectangle. Then, utilize the Outline tool to generate an inner circle. Merge these three objects together, employing the Combine tool. The outcome will be a component that you'll integrate with the outer image from the original design.

After crafting the keychain, adjust its size to your preference. Then, revert the elements to the following colors: Red for the outline to be cut out, Green to score the outline of each letter tile, and Black to engrave the letters and numbers.

After completing the lasering process, carefully remove the piece from the laser. Clean it thoroughly in preparation for applying a layer of paint to the letters, numbers, and score marks. I prefer using basic black acrylic paint for this step. Apply the paint generously, then wipe away any excess and allow it to dry completely. Once dry, use a damp cloth to easily remove any leftover paint from the project. Finish by applying a coat of polyurethane and attaching the keychain hardware. Now, your personalized keychain is ready to be enjoyed!
