Information
Well Any man married usually has a honey do list of some sort, some times it is verbally yelled at and some times it is a sticky note that mysteriously gets misplaced. Well some have a more permanent type like a chalk board that can be changed daily like this one.

Step 1) This Honey do list project starts out with a rounded cornered square from the shape list. Once in the work area is is sized to 10" x 10". a second copy of this is need for the inner portion to create a border. This one will be sized to 8" x 8"

Step 2 ) the next thing to do is create a name, this is done with the text option and the lettering is edited to " Honey Do List" the font was chosen from the drop down menu of fonts. an outline was also needed from the outline tool it needed to have a large outline so that was set.

Step 3) In this step the actual name was moved along with the center square so the outline could be added to the main square of the project. this also needed to small supports of vertical sticks if you will so they were added and placed as well.

Step 4) Now everything gets placed back to where everything will be, to Continue with this project it needed a shelf to hold the calk and brush, this was easily done by bringing in a rectangle and sizing it to just be a little less than the width of the main calk board. A second small narrow rectangle was placed in the middle of this new piece so it would be the spot for the round stick of calk and it would sit in the groove.

Step 5) This Honey Do List still needed pieces, the part needed was the very back, the actual part the flat black vinyl would be placed on to make up the calk board area itself. this only needed to be a slightly bit bigger that the inner square so I copied it and sized is a slight bit larger. next was a couple small triangle pieces to make gussets to hold and secure the shelf. these were just small but effective.

Step 6) To add a little love 4 hearts were added, these hearts will be placed a random on the border in no measurements. The last thing was to set up for the cutting and scoring, I placed everything within the inner square to save material as it would be just waste when cut out. Off to the laser...

Step 7) Once the laser had finished doing it's job, the main back was needing attention, this it the piece the flat black vinyl is placed. (NO the vinyl was not cut in the laser it was cut by hand) as it was simple to cut around the back piece flush. Once this was applied it then got glued to the rest of the project.
