Step1: The Design Stage
Start by creating two squares

3.9" x 4.175"
Creating the point
Create a triangle

Adding the eraser

You should have two objects
The pencil body and a square
set both objects to cut
Select the pencil body

paste just the outline of the pencil

Adding Teacher's Name

you can select whatever font you would like
make sure its set to cut
move it into the erase for sizing
move it out once you have the sizing you like.
Grouping
Select the whole pencil with all the objects inside and group them all together

make sure its set to engrave
make sure you put it on the pencil that has no objects on it. Right where the posits would go.
Set your engraving settings
Make sure you group all of you objects together that are in the same pencil

I use paint tape to make clean lines for my paint.
once painted and dried glue the top of the pencil with the scoring and square cut out on top of the solid piece making sure its flush
