Mountain Heart Pendant made using Xtool Artimind and xcs. Great gift for Mother's Day.
I opend up Artimind from the canvas in xcs, and entered the prompt Mountain with lake in shape of Heart.
This was one of the images produced.
We are going to Select the vector and then select outline.
We don't want a inner outline so uncheck this box.
I set the distance to .095 which was just enough to close the vector in the lake area.
We are going to use the circle tool and add one to the canvas.
Placing it near the top of the heart we can scale it to size.
Once your happy with the size and the location we can “offset” the circle.
To do this select the circle and hit outline.
Deselect the box for inner outline.
Move toggle to a negative setting. In this case -.08
Now that we have our hardware hoop it's time to secure it to the heart border.
To do this select both the outer circle and the heart border.
On the right of the screen Select the combine-unite tool.
Now our hardware hoop is joined.
We have a bit of leftover geometry on the inside of the heart from the previous operation. You can leave this as a cut through or by selecting the heart border and clicking edit node, you can delete this area.
It's time to add the text.
Simply select the text tool and click the canvas anywhere. We can move the text later.
Start with one line. Find your desired font.
Drag your text to the desired area and adjust the size to your liking. Putting it at an angle if you'd like.
Simply select your material, and set your speeds to your desired settings.
I have included a base setting for 3mm Basswood in the files.
