My sister in law loves bear and I made a necklace for her sons to give her for Mother's Day.
I used adobe illustrator to design the file. I uploaded a bear outline from Creative Fabrica which allows commercial use if altering the design. I removed the inside line of bear and used the fill tool to make it black. I created a text box and typed Mama and selected a font that I thought would be nice on the necklace. I placed the words where I wanted to within the bear. I used the pathfinder tool to cut the letters out of the bear shape. I added another text box and added the word blessed. I used the warp tool to make it curved. I saved this as an SVG.
I opened XCS and added the file I made in Adobe Illustrator as an SVG. I added a circle to represent the shape of the necklace. This helps with proper alignment. I used the framing tool to place the circle where the necklace was placed. It is hard to see the framing light on the stainless steel so I use the Rect framing setting and arrange the framing square around the necklace.
