Heart Keychains for Mothersday / Fathersday

This design is one of my Top-Seller from my Stringart Shop but I thought it‘s a fun Idea to turn them as well into Keychains als a smaller gift. 
I know that not everyone wants to create a stringart so this is a nice addition to my product range.

So please note this Design is okay to create for yourself but in no way usable for commercial use.

1. Create a Heart
2. Make a cut line somewhere by the heart
3. Use the pathfinder with “divide area”  and ungroup
4. Make space between the 2 pieces
5. Write your text
6. Bring the text in the background
7. Select one of the heart pieces and yout text and go to OBJECT → Distortion something → with top layer

And thats how I made it easy explained.

Of course this needs some experimentation to create something you might find good or usable. Have fun trying it out. As you can see I made quite some versions until I was happy :D

I wanted a good visible engraving, depending on your material you might need to lower or raise this settings. 

It's always good to create a test run with a little circle for example first. Use the same settings as here and if you like the result, go on with the real project!

Also I used the Air Assist on low for enfraving and middle while cutting.

1. Take a jump ring and open it (use yout fingers or take some pliers)
2. Place the loop inside the jump ring
3. Add the Keychain ring as well
4. Close the jump ring
5. Done!

Very sweet gift for you mom, dad or grandma or grandpa!
