As a 'not so green fingered' gardener I had no idea which herbs where which in my garden - herb labels to the rescue. These can be made in many different ways, wooden, acrylic with 'cut out' letters of simply cut out the letters and apply to a backing stick.
Make sure that you add the correct settings depending of you are using acrylic or wood and the thickness of each. The settings above are for 4mm cherry veneer only.
Ensure that the elements you want to cut are placed on the material using the camera form the laser. ‘Ignore’ or delete any elements that are not wanted.
Hit GO!
That's it your project is finished!
There are a re couple of easy variations to the labels. If you don't like the look of the letters such as D, R, A then there is a simple fix. Cut out a plain backing stick and lay the ‘named label’ and the ‘middles’ of the letters on top and secure down with glue. You could also ( to use up scraps) cut a blank backing stick and glue the ‘cut out’ letters onto the stick. See photos on this step for examples.
Enjoy and watch the herbs grow!
