Information
I own my small business like many other here on the platform, and for my newest products I don't wanted to invest in new shipping boxes. Thats why I tried cutting my own from used cardboard like amazon boxes and similar.

Step1: Make the Design fit yout needs
Preview

This Shippingbox Design is very basic. I wanted to get the biggest box I could make out of the M1 and the sizes are now H15,5cm x W 21 cm x H 2,5cm.

  • So if you want another size select all and scale it down, bigger isnt possible for the M1 without the need to turn it into separate pieces need glued together.
  • Otherwise I only created a lot of rectangles in different widths and lenghts. I include the SVG for messing around and building the box you need.

Step2: Laser cutting / Keep Attention!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL CUTTING CARDBOARD!

Please, please, please don't leave a project using cardboard out of sight. Cutting takes just a few minutes. It can causes fire as it's very flamable.

  • In my file there are 2 circles included with the same settings for this project. Please use these first to try out if the settings are working and maybe adjust them. Cardboard is very different and can be thinner or thicker so test cuts are better to do.

This box folds easly with the created score lines that haevtn cut through.

  1. Just bend them carefully
  2. Take some tape to secure the box a bit more.
  3. Now place your goodies for shipping inside

Just a note: the Edges are possibly sharp so be careful and don't cut yourself. Also the edges are having burning dust on them so you might end up with colored hands, maybe don't touch important things directly afterwards or use some gloves.

Enjoy your selfmade shippign boxes!

If you want you can also add you logo for more branding on the backside as engraving oder anything you like.

I hope you liked this Idea, I really do. Stay creative! ~ Anzy
