Ensure all your other layers are on ‘ignore’  place the blue layer over your material using the camera setting.

This will cut and engrave the back of the acrylic so that when you take it out the laser you will flip the board so that the lavender is on the left hand side. Once cut, wipe over.  

The board is set so that small holes are cut in each corner so that stand offs can be used. If you would rather use ribbon or magnets ungroup the blue and adjust the circles accordingly. Stand offs are easily available online.

NOTE. If you want to change the size of the board them make sure you place all the components together and then resize so that they still layer on top of each other perfectly.

Place the wood into the laser and cut the ‘Mom’ text. Remember to hid all other layers and set both text layers to ‘Output’. Ensure the cut settings are suitable for your material and cut the wood.

The carefully glue the letters on top of each other and then onto the acrylic backing board. 

Now place the coloured acrylic into the laser and ensure your setting are correct for the material. Select the ‘output’ for the lavender and make sure all other elements are  on ignore. 

Cut, clean and then place onto board and glue into place.

Once all elements are cut to your satisfaction and glued into place it is time to add the standoffs of magents (which ever you choose). Follow the instructions for your chosen item. 

Using clear acrylic pegs (purchased from an online store), glue to your preferrd placing. Add photos of Mom!
