Everyone likes dogs and I made this to sell as a front door hanger.
I used one piece of 12 X 20 ¼" birch plywood to cut the wood pieces to fit on a 16" MDF round.
I used acrylic for “welcome” because I like the way acrylic shines but wood could easily be used. I cut acrylic in reverse and keep the top layer of the protective paper attached so that no burn flashes show. I used an Exacto blade to start the peel to get the paper off of the front of the acrylic.
Note: The orange circles in my image are pieces of junk jewelry to help me align my image since my material was black. I took them out before the cut.
Painted wood pieces with acrylic paint, glued wood pieces to MDF base with Starbond Thick glue then added acrylic welcome.
