![[Laser cut and engrave] Personalized Laser Cut Wooden Christmas Ornament with Reindeer and Snowflakes](https://storage-us.atomm.com/resource/xtool/community/attachment/xtool-community/5f860d89-90b3-4ab4-b74e-3376d7f96e99.jpg?x-oss-process=image/resize,w_1200,h_900,limit_0/interlace,1/format,webp/auto-orient,1)

I created this layered ornament as a winter-themed design featuring a deer silhouette surrounded by snowflakes. I added “The Jackson Family” in a font that looks laser-engraved to give it a personalized, handmade feel. The purpose of making this piece was to combine a clean, modern laser-cut style with a warm, family-centered touch, creating something meaningful for holiday decorating or gifting.
Laser-Cut Ornament Instructions
Page 1 – Dark Layer (Deer + Outer Frame)
Cut Page 1 on cherry wood, walnut, or any darker wood.
You can also cut it from a lighter wood and stain it darker after cutting.
Page 2 – Light Layer (Snowflakes + Background Ring)
Cut Page 2 on birch, basswood, maple, or any lighter wood.
Page 3 – Text Layer (Family Name Plate)
Add your custom text (for example: “The Jackson Family”).
Cut Page 3 on the same lighter wood you used for Page 2.
Assembly Instructions
Lightly sand all pieces if needed (optional).
Dry-fit the layers to check alignment.
Glue the layers in this order:
Back: Page 1 (dark wood)
Middle: Page 2 (light wood)
top: Page 3 (light wood)
Apply wood stain or finish before or after assembly, depending on the look you prefer.
Notes
You can mix different wood species or use stains to create color contrast.
